What Is Feng
Shui? Feng Shui is
pronounced (Fung schway). It is a word in Mandarin and Feng Shui literally means
Wind (Feng) and Water (Shui). Its origins date back several thousand years to
ancient China. Feng Shui is the
ancient art of placement - this practice of balancing and correcting the effects
of certain Chi' will bring benefits to the relationship between yourself and
your family, your career or wealth status and the state of your most important
asset - your Health. Good Feng Shui
can be achieved by positioning furniture, fixtures, etc in their appropriate
places. It can be as simple as placing a couch in the best location in your
living room or as complex as placing your house in the best location on your
property. Keep in mind that lucky objects are believed to attract good fortunes
in all aspects of life, there are other items that may reverse your luck if
inadvertently placed. Feng Shui does not contradict any religious, cultural or
traditional beliefs, as Feng Shui is the science of bringing together mankind
and the environment in which we strive to find peace and harmony. There are many
different fields of expertise and schools for thought. We recommend that you
seek out a reputable qualified Feng Shui Consultant/Practitioner or read the
many good books available and enter into the fascinating but never boring world
of Feng Shui.
